Wintry Precipitation - A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the entire area today into tonight. Recent radar and model trends have caused us to speed up the timing of the arrival of the wintry precipitation. The latest forecast timing graphic is attached to this email. Overall, all of the timings have been moved up by about 2 hours.

Snow accumulations have increased from the last forecast briefing for most of the area and are now expected to be generally between 1" to 3" with a stripe of 4" to 6" now forecast across portions of Southeast Alabama into Southwestern Georgia.
Freezing rain accumulations have remained about the same from the last briefing with 0.10" to 0.25" forecast across the Florida Big Bend into south-central Georgia.
Dangerous Cold Temperatures & Wind Chills - Wind chills between 5 to 15 degrees are expected Wednesday morning for much of the area, as a result an Extreme Cold Warning is now in effect with a Cold Weather Advisory in effect for the southeast Florida Big Bend and along the I-75 corridor in Georgia for wind chills between 15 to 25 degrees.
Additional Cold Weather Advisories can be expected Thursday morning with temperatures generally between 20 to 25 degrees.
Impacts include: frostbite, hypothermia, and damage to plants and pipes.
