Sheriff Gene Scarbrough reports the activity for November 2018
Deputies responded to 2,487 calls for service, conducted 1,577 business and property checks, 700 mobile home park and subdivision checks with 18 school checks.
Sheriff Scarbrough said deputies served 171 warrants, 93 civil papers and 282 subpoenas.
The sheriff reported that deputies arrested 68 people, some on multiple charges. He said that 43 charges of parole/probation violation were filed, 10 crimes against persons charges, 10 property crimes charges, 12 failures to appear, 2 weapons charges, 2 child support cases and 39 cases of fraud.
Traffic stops conducted by Deputies led to 4 charges of driving under the influence, 10 drug charges, 4 wanted persons and 18 individuals having a suspended or revoked driver’s license as well as 12 non-traffic charges.
He added that deputies completed 446 reports, worked 40 accidents issued 527 traffic citations, 116 traffic warnings and patrolled 68,375 miles.
The sheriff also reported that deputies provided 59 transports, totaling 166 hours and 6,536 miles
